My most favorite movies..all his whistling movies…the best ever🎉

TCM intro'd me to these films more than a decade ago, and the second day, they also broadcast the 1933 WHISTLING version with Ernest Truex and Una Merkel. It was slower with less edginess but, then again, C. Henry Morgan and the eventually always-sinister Edward Arnold were no match for always wonderfully evil Conradt Veight. That stronger, sharper "appearance of a villain" is one reason for my preference towards the 1941 version but Red & Co are simply wonderful and too much fun.
