Nice video Mads, great to see you out lurking in the dark

Looks to be an interesting location Mads, this is still something that I need to get out and do but good low light pollution locations here in the UK are hard to find.

Great shots - when were you there? I was up there Xmas day last year and found there was quite a bit of light pollution along the horison. I guess I have to get myself out there in the milky way core season next year.
Another question: Why do you shoot with such high ISO? When the camera is ISO invariant you get more dynamic range by keeping the ISO down, but of course it is less convenient as it is harder to see what you are doing on site. 🙂

Great Video Mads... I wish/must learn how to stack>> I just take one image at a time on my Niko Z7 and Nikon 20mm f1.8 S lens

I really like the photo at 14:07, never seen the core vertical before. It's almost MilkyWay season in the southwest USA so I'm looking forward to taking shots of it again and better this time. Great video as usual.

Ole Rømer observatoriet, Århus er fra 1911. Brorfelde Observatorium fra 1951

Since it's always a composite of foreground and background, i find it easier to first photograph the foreground at blue hour and then move to a clear area with little foreground. And shoot the milky way. Since it's so far off it does not change based on location, and it's easier to separate the sky without a lot of foreground junk.

Fantastic crispy/clear shots Mads, great vlog as always 👍🏻

Skønt sted. Bor ikke så langt derfra og altid en succes at fotografere ved Brorfelde.

You are so lucky to get a clear sky Mads, have planned 6 Milky Way central core shoots this year in the UK and not one of them has there been a clear sky, disappointed but not downhearted, will try again next Milky Way season and determined to get an image 🤞🌌 Beautiful images Mads with an apt foreground subject 👌

images manipulated and photoshopped basically, not impressed. Stack the images and then go in and edit/manipulate them to be stunning so called photos. Total Bullshit!

Can you accually see the milky way before you take the picture? In the video all you se is the stars.

Great video! Bought the 5 day deal! Was only interested in 4 of the options but it was still a great great price just for those.

I paid for the 5 day deal. Where is it? It just kept taking me to more things to buy and then… nothing. No downloadable tutorials. No links. What happened?

Mads, I think you need a natural night / light pollution filter on your lens or in front of your sensor... the orange glow from the lights of the highway or town or cars, is spoiling a beautiful composition.

“ Simply Stunning “ Mads, I really want to try taking a Milky Way photo, any Astro really but since I’ve got an idea how to do it ( all in my little note book ) we’ve just not had the weather for it. 1.30 am now and raining

Another great video, Mads. The two photos, both portrait layout, showing 2 of the observatories are my favorites. Great work!!!

Beautiful images Mads, the observatories made for great foreground subjects and the detail in the foreground was fabulous too

Fantastic images! My dad worked at the Brofelde Observatory for many years, and I have been wanting to take pictures like for years, so I could give him a print of one. Thank you for the tips as to where to stand.

Will a 50mm lens on a full frame body be too big to get decent shots at the observatory?

I just purchased the big 5 dayDeal bundle and I looking forward to learning a lot.
