How To Do a Hard Reset (Factory Default) on Android Tablets.

Works for most Android Tablets.

1)Power off Tablet
2)Press and hold Volume Up Button
3)While pressing Volume Up Button, press and hold Power Button for 5 to 7 seconds.
4)Let go of Power Button, but continue to hold Volume Up button until Android Logo and Debug Menu comes up.
5)Select Hard Reset/Factory Default with volume buttons.
6)Press Power Button to make selection.
7)Then select 'Yes' to start reset.

*** ALL USER DAT WILL BE LOST ***

Thank you for your knowledge and this video. I'm a old Vietnam Veteran and I'm admit when it comes to technology. I'm no where close to being the brightest bulb on a Christmas Tree . I've never had a computer laptop or tablet until I was given a used tablet. To keep me company. And could not use it . And I was told to do a hard restart. Not having a clue. Greatly appreciate this video! Spot on even for my generic knock off just one adjustment after a few tries I figured out that I needed to hold my buttons for just over 10 seconds instead of six. The point being is that if it's not a tablet like yours I wanted to point out for the person not to be discouraged they just need to hold the button maybe a little longer. I finally reset my old transformer TF300T tablet. Was quite different to your set up but same concept and actually worked for me. Was so surprised that all my photos had not been deleted and data, maybe I had saved data without me knowing. This would of cost up to 70$ to do and so thanks for your video, one of the best to follow. My tablet is 5 years old but hardly been used and so maybe format is different to new tablets as nothing no data was lost when I reset it. So happy to see old pics of family and animals. Thanks
