The hallucination of Barbara shooting herself is actually the militia that Ivy knocks out early in the game, in the same room. If you go back to that room later, you can see one of the militia guy sitting dead in the wheelchair. Batman actually watched him kill himself, but his hallucination made him think it was Barbara.

One that gets overlooked is the Arkham Knights posture. When Jason was being tortured by the joker he had barbed wire over his chest to prevent him from leaning back, and when we actually see the Arkham knight in game u can see his hunched posture, showing the effect of jokers torture to this day and also the amount of detail rocksteady put into this game

Joker's face getting more healthy as the game progresses is the opposite of Arkham City where his face degrades as the game progresses.

The joker appearing out of no where, the random flying bat that scares you while grappling, the changing of the billboards, such a masterpiece

Fun fact: in Arkham Knight, you can find a poster for DC superhero Booster Gold somewhere in Gotham, which fits Booster’s character because he wanted to become a superhero for fame. You can also find an ad for Zatanna’s magic show (fitting because she is a magician). Finally, one of Starro’s spores can be found locked behind glass at a Gotham amusement park. It’s labeled as “that starfish freak, ” which is fitting because Starro is a star-shaped alien.

I played this game this year.
Ended it for about 5 times with different difficulties.
GOD, I can't find any other game this much addictive.
I'm used to it and I wanna play more like this.
But Arkham Knight was way ahead of it's time and It's once a lifetime opportunity.

A truly masterpiece

Another is if you look at "Barbra's" dead body you will see in detective vision that there is no spine damage so she was not in the room, and a fun franchise fact is you never fight Harley Quinn as Batman she is defeated by either takedowns (Harley Quinn's Revenge and Knight), it happens off screen (in City by Talia) or it is done in a cutscene (Asylum).

I noticed one another detail while replaying the game recently. During the mission of rescuing the workers from Ace Chemicals, after you rescue the 2nd alive worker and uses the Batmobile to pull up the elevator to get out, the Arkham Knight suddenly attacks you with an unmanned chopper. But if you observe closely, you can see the Knight himself standing on top of the building to your left. After the drones and the chopper are destroyed by Batman, he disappears suddenly.

The joker aspect of this game was pure genius. I remember playing the first time and my daughter walked in the room asked “ why are you looking at that statue “ “ could have sworn it looked like joker” I said.

another thing I find cool is the dialogue from the villains side quests (Penguin, Two-Face etc.) changes depending on whether you complete the mission before or after Batman's identity is revealed

When Harley takes over the movie studios and you have to take back the 3 Jokers, you team up with Robin. Before you really start you get another Joker hallucination. If you switch between Batman and Robin you can see Joker materialize and dematerialize as you switch between the two

Right after you exit the clock tower at the beginning of the game, you talk to Alfred on that forearm projector. If you move the camera angle towards the left you can see Man-Bat rising into the sky from the area his lab would be. You see him flying in the distance until he reaches pass Panessa Studios and then he just dive bombs right into some building. I just noticed it with my last playthrough just this Halloween. The one I cannot believe I've never seen is Mr Zsasz in that security footage. He just blends in so well.

Anyone else sometimes feel like the Arkham games are too good to be true? These are GOTY contender games about Batman focusing on an original universe and new storyline led by the legendary Conroy and Hamill duo. It's basically the interactive version if the BTAS.

If you didn't know when azreal is given the choice to strike batman down or break the sword, you actually can just walk right out and not pick up the sword

I'm actually impressed with myself the only one I didn't noticed was the Joker looking better the more you advance in the game. But I guess is because I've finished this game at least a dozen of times.
Another one I noticed is that after you find out Robin was kidnapped by Scarecrow, if you leave the theater and return later you'll see Red Hood painted his symbol on the floor. Also, when Batman is about to surrender to Scarecrow, just before entering the building you can see another Red Hood symbol on the wall and Batman looks at it for a brief moment.

For the Deadshot shells, it's possible that this is a reused asset from AC's side mission, as one of the first things Batman noticed and pointed him toward Deadshot was the bullet casing that had his name on it

One detail i've never seen anyone mention: When you go to the clock tower for the very first time, and then exit it, while Batman is talking to Comissioner Gordon on the comms, you can briefly see Man-Bat flying across the sky in the distance, and then diving down to the streets.

About Oracle's death scene: If you pay attention to the corners of the room you are in, you can actually see fear gas leaking out of some pipes, explaining how the vision of her death was induced

One of my favorite details in City/Knight is that Two Face has a different voice depending on which side of his face is facing towards the camera. If his good side is facing the camera, it’s Harvey Dent. If it’s his bad side, it’s Two Face. Thought that was a really cool way to portray his split personality.
