In this stream I discuss the science of cymatics and how the sacred geometric structures present within vibratory sound waves connects back to the Logos and Orthodox Theology . Make sure to check it out and let me know what you think.
God bless 🙏

Thank you 🙏

You had me at Geometry of Sound. Had to look Cymatics up, turns out it's the same thing. Used to love the video of salt on the sound plate at different pitches back when i was a new age hippie

I love how I found your videos so randomly but the beautiful synchronicities of what your teaching and the path of learning I was already on that lead me here astounds me in its connections ! I love the universe - I love life - I can see how I was meant to be seeing your videos I already subscribed like 2 or more months ago !

Man, now I want to go grab some powder and set up a tone generator and play around. Cool stuff. Thanks for making this vid! I think you’re totally right about “reclaiming” the “vibe” concepts from the new agey people. I think a lot of people get this idea about Christianity as if it isn’t interested by the hidden structures we can find in the world that are usually more celebrated by the new agey types and that these discoveries and patterns somehow contradict our worldview. As a math nerd who used to be an atheist, I have way more appreciation for mathematics now knowing about God. God bless.

Finally someone else is talking about this. I've been waiting for years for people in the Christian community to pick up on this. Wait till you figure out the connection between the doppler effect and the tetragrammaton

Great stream DPH. Felt like this expanded on a lot of what was said during the New Year’s stream. God Bless!

I am loving your content.

I'm very curious - does anyone know of any cymatic demonstrations of Orthodox chants, Gregorian chants, Amen, Hallelujah, and so on?

Inspired, I just chanted twelve Amens, and I do feel like I'm a bit closer to divinity than I was a few minutes ago.

I was introduced to this years ago when I watched a video about the Stave Angel in the Rosslyn Chapel.

The Stave Angel gets its name because it's a statue of an angel holding a scroll of music in its hands. The way it was carved has its fingers pointing to specific notes on the stave. The late Scottish composer Stuart Mitchell discovered, using cymatics, that the geometric patterns on the carved blocks above the angel's head correspond exactly to the notes the angel points to on the stave.

Cymatics is very cool indeed, and really should be reclaimed to the glory of Christ our King.

I study Linguistics and I'm thinking about these water crystals and words in context of phonology. Also other languages.

Another powerful stream brother thank you so much! Just curious - I know you as DPH, is Cotel another name you go by?

Yes...was hoping you did a video on this. Can talk for hours about this stuff.

Well I find this fascinating and definitely lots of truth in the resonance and vibrational theological theories, I’d be curious to see the data from experiments done when two people speaking yet they don’t speak the same language to see what the distinction may be. Also, this makes me question the Tower of Babel. Maybe before that all humans were speaking Gods vibrational language? Just a thought. Possibly a rabbit hole to go down.

How are those words being input and transmitted to the water molecule?

Great video! You may find Dr Gilbert Ling and A Troshin’s work interesting.

Hey DPH. Can you review Mathieu Pageau's book on cosmic symbolism in genesis?? Reading it now and it is in line with this to an extent. He is Greek Orthodox

First of all, I want to say this out of respect because I don't want to be overly critical. I agree with most of your more esoteric takes (like your analysis of monism and the sun symbol collapsing into the mother's womb and the devouring mother that is liberalism). But here is a place that leaves me stumped, and which I tend to become skeptical because I know a lot of Gnostic and perennialist people (some of them who believe themselves to be Protestant) who like these kinds of things and use them to make art.

Second, I want to clarify that I watched all of the stream, and I'm not trying to be nit-picky, I engage out of respect because I think you're a smart dude, not trying to antagonize. I'm a convert to Orthodoxy who was convinced by studying Jonathan Pageau's symbolic approach to Orthodox cosmology, Dostoyevsky's novels, and Jay Dyer's philosophical and theological apologetics.

I wanted to comment on this because I saw an old video of you talking about sacred geometry and mixing Hegel with Protestant theology (to understand the procession of the Holy Spirit) and I wanted to know how your own spiritual growth leads you to understand these things better. It was an interesting video which was helpful, but I'm trying to delineate where we draw the line of things being more helpful or leading us astray. We live in a Gnostic perennialist age influenced by Vedanta Buddhist metaphysics that often take these paths and I'm very interested in these subtleties, because I'm an artist, my own path was mired with angelic help and demonic obstacles, and I can't always tell which is which.

I want to believe that sacred geometry is connected to the Logos and that we can do better by building according to these forms. At the same time I am skeptical because it sounds like a Neoplatonic/Gnostic distraction of the esoteric and hermetic kind. How can we even know the mathematical form of truth without first knowing the truth in Christ? Engaging in these ventures seems to participate in the inverted pattern of using matter to tell us what the spirit should be like (such as democracy, empiricism, etc). God's energies must manifest through these lower channels, but why would we need to pay attention to them and not directly to God? It feels like alchemy and its attempt to access the divine through manipulating the material (techne), and at worst it's esotericism for its own sake.

Should we even be talking about it if we can't defend it epistemically? Because to make good things (art), to develop techne positively, requires that we already possess divine inspiration, so those places are safe, but I don't see how to capitalize on these spaces which seem more dangerous than fertile.

I understand the argument of the Logos partly as the projection of God's energies. But I don't interpret the Word as just sound. I interpret the Word as speech and also breath (inspiration and exhalation, also known as expiration): meaningful sound that joins outside and inside, Heaven and Earth, identity and non-identity, life and death. There's a musical aspect to it, yes, it's also a projection of the ideal spiritual truth on the material and the material responding, singing, like a horn blowing back spirit (and horns being themselves protuberances of a being projecting into space, and also a dead being used to participate of Life). But breath also points to the inspiration (gathering of God's light, St Peter's ministry of the Jews) and exhalation (the procession of the Holy Spirit through Pentecost, martyrdom and St Paul's ministry to the gentiles), the yin-yang, the masculine-feminine, hierarchy, rigor-mercy, right and left. So to me the image is more about the transcending of dualities more than just the conquering death aspect, after all, it's death through death, and humility implies accepting death, accepting that the part is not the whole (which is the humility of the Son accepting not being either the Father or the Spirit, the supremacy and monarchy of the origin).

What is the need of joining these mysteries at the physical level and try to discover them? Will the light of tabor reveal itself through this? If our faith is true then our song will supernaturally match God's song without us having to study these vibrations, it makes more sense to try to get closer to the mysteries of the faith and let all of this to appear organically if it ever does, or disappear in the background. There's already too many esoteric practices that promise occult gnosis "just after this next barrier".

I want Orthodoxy to become mainstream and I want cultural products to reflect Him, but artists need people like you, Jay, Fr Dc Ananias, Pageau, Fr Silouano Justiniano, Fr Peter Heers, to help us understand the pattern of Revelation so we can tell stories that reflect God.

Yeah but how does the meaning get to the water? What language is it said in or whatever?

Just before I watch. God organised the unformed world by giving commands, by word. In light of this, would it be too far fetched to say that this is analogous, at least in principle, to cymatics ordering matter? I don't think so.

Edit: 2:33, lol guessed it. :))
