•shade is a figment of gus’ imagination
•shade cannot talk
•Gus is not disturbed by shade’s appearance
•shade only exists for gus’ entertainment
•chuck is unaware of shades existence therefore the other brawlers too
•Gus is not a ghost but obsessed with the supernatural and imaginative beings
•it is unconfirmed that shade does or does not know that the other brawlers exist
•Gus enjoys the experience of shade’s company
•shade almost acts the same way spooky does to Gus, like a companion but shade can do more than spooky can, spooky is just a balloon.
