Coronavirus: Why has the COVID alert level changed?

In addition to the alert level dropping to three, the government has released data which shows the rate in which the coronavirus infection is changing day to day.

The figures show that COVID-19 in the UK is dropping between two and four per cent a day.

Sky's Technology Correspondent Rowland Manthorpe has been looking at what this means for the threat of the virus.

Understandably council elections have been cancelled. Normally people can put pressure on the Government via voting for opposition in council elections, if they are not happy. Council elections have been banned though and this scenario is not fair on many levels. How can people at least influence change? What happens next?
