Bob Seger ("Sea Ger") is one of the all time Singer/ Songwriter/ Storytellers. I was 33 when this was released. I feel the same as I did then, nostalgic, but didn't realize how much more it was going to apply today at 70. Check out... "Main Street" "Turn the page" "Old time Rock and Roll" " Against The Wind" "We've got tonight" "Nutbush City Limits" Loved your reaction Rosalie and I love your Interpretations of the music you're listening to!

Seger hits harder the older you get. When I was younger, his songs were just good songs. Now as a middle-aged man, they hit the soul.

Bob is not only in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame but the song writers Hall of Fame. If you were fortunate enough to see Bob live you always got your moneys worth.

I'm 66 and grew up in Detroit. I can tell you that for a lot of people like me Bobs music is an integral part of the sound track of our lives.

I was impressed with the way you grasped the mix of emotions present in "Like A Rock". If for no other reason than your own pleasure give his song "The Fire Inside" a listen. Maybe you'll find this one line intriguing: "The lights go down and they dance real close and for one brief instant they pretend they're safe and warm..."

Happy listening! 😊

This man is an American treasure. Songwriting, composition, one of the best backing bands ever, performance. I don't think we'll see his likes again.

So many other great songs including

Night moves
Feel like a number
Fire inside
Against the wind
Roll me away
Travelin man
Beautiful loser
Hollywood nights

He helped raise us thru the 70's and 80's, that's why he's Uncle Bob.

If NIGHT MOVES doesn't move you to tears, nothing ever will. And every 10 years, the tears will increase and the sobs will be more wrenching.

This song is, at its core, an anthem for what all good men strive to be. Strong as a rock. The rock ignores all the chaos and nonsense around it, and just does what it does, stay strong.

Bob is the king of musical nostalgia. What's amazing is I grew up listening to his songs and never paid much attention to them. Then, on a fresh listen to Night Moves (in another reaction video) at age 53 it hit me like a ton of bricks. That bittersweet pain you feel when you recognize that there's more years behind you than ahead of you, reflecting on you youth and realizing you didn't fully appreciate it at the time. The phrase "youth is wasted on the young" comes to mind.

Bob has the uncanny ability to make nostalgic music...even if you didn't live it, when he sings about it, you feel like you did.

Bob writes "life" better than anyone. As an old sound engineer, "Turn the page" is one of my favorites when it comes to describing life on the road...

Bob never had a bad song .
His lyrics were always deep.
Night Moves sweet heart, Night Moves.
I seen him in concert 3 times. The man knew how to move an audience.
Love your reactions.
