I used to have an original NF3. I was visiting some friends and went into the local Guitar Center with my friend. I saw it on the wall and thought it was interesting, a little more "chunky" than a strat. When I played it, I couldn't get it out of my head. Almost everyday I was in town, I went back to that GC and played it. I bought it the last day I was in town and brought it home. Such a wonderful guitar! I found over time that I struggled with it just like the PRS Custom 24 I once had; it was strat-like, but not strat like. It was it's own thing. Kind of like a strat with P90s but a bit more bottom end. That's when I learned that PRS guitars are their own sound. They don't sound exactly like anything else. They have their own tonal character that just doesn't mesh with my playing as much as I wish!

I like the NF3 ES when I hear you play it, but when I played it in Guitar Center it didn’t feel inspiring. Maybe I need to play another one 🤷🏽‍♂️

I love the way they look but they sound too muddy for my taste. I feel like a Fender Strat has more clarity, bite, and punch.

I have an old USA NF3. Great guitar. Never understood why they didn’t take off. Glad they are giving it another shot.

I bought one of these a few months ago. I love it! It's a really awesome guitar! Definitely feels like a tamed strat to me!

I sold a bunch of pedals and bought one as soon as I could. I absolutely love this guitar. I put locking tuners and a push/push pot for bridge and neck pickup.

I just picked up a PRS S2 24-08 and it’s amazing! It’s my #1 guitar 🎸 now. Love the vid! Give the PRS guitars a try. You might end up loving them as well!!! 🎸🔥🎸🔥🎸

This is a super practical guitar if you play with gain and/or do palm muting but love Strats.
No hum, no ice pick transients and no annoying volume pot getting in the way.
Just lots of note clarity and very playable ergonomics.
I think its 25in PRS scale as well
The one I played wasn't set up very well and doesn't have the premium feel of the SE DGT and 594, but they are a bit cheaper.
