A seal has been filmed swimming and then climbing up onto a kayak, to say hello to a female paddler.
Student Iris Rainbow, 18, was out kayaking in March around Cornwall, UK, when a curious visitor came to say hello.
A rescued seal called Eliza, that frequents the harbour’s waters and is known for her curiosity and calmness around humans, swam around and under Iris before eventually popping out of the water and resting her head on the floating kayak.
The seal was crystal clear in the water and Iris was able to film the entire interaction.
