This is a REALLY old and well known bug which can also be done with kogmaw and karthus .

This isn't new, though; it's been around for quite a while. It's also replicatable with Urgot too. The criteria for that is different, but urgot can E Sion just as he dies in Zombie form to teleport him from fountain to wherever Urgot is.
But this is a cool find.

It's a balance of having Sion's zombie form lasting longer than his respawn timer (because Zombie form can last longer than death timer) and something that would affect his positioning and pull him out of fountain.

Sion's death timer starts on his first death, not when the psasive dies.
Its a bug where if sion somehow delays his passive for the entirety of his death timer and then is targetted by specific movement spells he is moved from fountain to the location since he technically doesnt die and respawn since his death timer already hit 0. Its been around for ages but i havent seen kalista do it.

She doesn't revive him. His passive timer ran out while Kalista pulled him back with her ultimate. For some reason this made Sion spawn instantly and the dead Sion was substituted with the spawned one. Still a cool bug to reduce death timer and keep going fights in real time. Sup Sion + Kalista might be a thng if this works consostently

This bug has been around for years. There are a few reddit post on the topic and a recent when when a new video was uploaded to reddit. Several comments say this is from about 4 years ago. It's not new, just not well known about. It is also not too hard to do. I also recommend checking the comments on that reddit post as one user who is an avid bug finder, goes into quite a bit of detail about it and when he found it years ago.

It looks like kalista has to ult sion after death and have his passive run out of health while inside of kalistas ult. From the wiki sions passive health loss is specifically unaffected by invulnerability. Kalistas ult grants invulnerability. But kalista needs a champion to throw at you, ao i guess the spaghetti code just throws a new unit.

ok so my guess is that since it is earlier into the game and sion was behind the enemy laner he probably had a low death timer + kalista ult allowed the remaining time to flow and since the corpse is allocated back to the base by respawn command since she was holding his corpse on death he respawned inside of her ult and shot himself to the destination.

Yeah it's just that the death timer is short early game so Sion was about to insta respawn as soon as he died but I'm guessing kalista r repositioned his respawn making it seem like he was revived

the death timer for a bot lane at lvl 8 is around 21-27+ seconds while here he comes back alive in less then 17 seconds so its not the death timer running out

its because during that time hes about to respawn anyway so him being thrown out of her ult is acting like a base idk

i remember when my friend was playing kog with triumph at the start of the preseason 13, and he resurrected on lane after eliminating someone with his passieve. truly a riot moment of some time.

I think it is because Sion passive isn't cored to stop ticking down while he is in Kalista ult his passive ran out. But because you don't take dmg in Kalista ult he didn't die after his passive ended. Then because he was alive whenbl he came out of Kalista ult the game got confused and though sion after passive + alive = respawned. And then put him where the ult placed him.

Taking a deeper read about Sion's passive in the LoL wiki I found this piece sh, I mean text:
"Sion, during Glory in Death (Sion Death passive), will not lose health while being carried by Fate's Call Fate's Call (Kalista R)."
So apparently Kalista held Sion long enough into the ult to the point were he got revived inside of the ult(insert question mark here).
