How to disable seatbelt warning chime - recent Subaru vehicles

I don't think your an idiot for not wearing your seat belt. I think it should be a choice. If smoking is legal bet we know it kills 40, 000 people a year and a the other things that are bad for us but legal, this too should be a choice. If I die because I didn't have my belt on, then that's my fault but my choice. Thank you sir for posting this!

I had to turn the ignition to "ON" position, not the "ACC" 2017 WRX.

I am an idiot as well but did it change to a bird sound at first? Or am I higher than I think?

Why does everyone do this? It will still beep for key ignition and still beep for 1 whole round and still beep with the passenger weight Why are there no videos on the chime location under the dash? Am I the only one that's going to take apart the dash to find it?

I had a 2015 Forester and this trick worked. Just got a 2018 Forester and this trick does NOT work. I have tried many times and am ready for the nut house after all the dinging!

Well I mean it's easy to be an idiot about seat belts when you live in New Hampshire where they don't require them by law like most states do lol
