3.4L BC Stroker 2JZ with VVTI Makes 1300HP on the Hub Dyno | RS Garage

In this video we head to the hub dyno with Freddy from Spectuned and his Toyota supra. This supra was able to produce over 1300HP on E85. It has a 10:1 compression 2JZ with a 94mm Brian Crower Stroker Crankshaft. It has a vvti cylinder head machined by Mazworx and a 8685 Precision turbo. 2 Sets of fuel injectors with a PHR Triple Pump hanger.

Thank you Professor Jay! Always a pleasure watching your content. I love how tame you got the 276's to idle (clip at 7:22). I wonder how much more "drivable" and enjoyable at low speeds a 7675 Next Gen would be in this combination, with everything else the same. Could it still make ~1200hp but have more meat at, say, 3k rpm? Not to set the world on fire, but to pull away from a light with a little more competence lol.

When Freddy says anything over 38-40psi will start to get squirly in the 3rd, is that on something like a 15inch drag radial or on an 18 with a competent tire like say an R888r?

Also when you say they’re good 1100-1200 hp cars, can that be managed on a 18 inch R888r, or is that for sure 275/60r15 territory?
