I Got a Puppy... Meet HICCUP! | Kamri Gets a Dog

THIS IS SO EXCITING! I have been wanting a puppy for so long... I FINALLY GOT ONE! Everyone, meet Hiccup, my 10-week old mini golden doodle! Do you have a dog? If so, what kind??? COMMENT BELOW!

Okay… so I’ve known about this news for a looonnggg time, and have been keeping it a secret. I’ve wanted my own puppy for my whole life haha. We've had both Braidy and Ash since I was little, but they were our family dogs.

Back home in Texas, I volunteered for a pet rescue foundation that helped heal and foster displaced and abused puppies until they could be adopted by new forever families. I am in my second year of living on my own, and I’ve never gone this long without having a dog around!

Having Brooklyn move to Utah this past summer and seeing Finn every day has just made me want a puppy even more! Now I know what you’re going to say… how do you have any time?!! Honestly, I think you can make time for the things that are important to you! 😉 Yes, I'm busy... but it’s easy for me to sacrifice things that I don’t care a ton about to raise my own puppy!!

The perfect opportunity arose for me to finally get my own dog and now that it’s here I’m loving it!! He’s already the star of the show in my apartment haha he has visitors constantly. My friend Megan from SweetToothFairy had her dog become accidentally pregnant with this litter of puppies, after the mommy dog had the litter from last year that Jack Jack (Bailey's dog) came from. This puppy was one of several puppies in this new litter, and so is Willow (Bailey's new 2nd puppy)! SO CUTE!
