I was impressed with how you were able to demonstrate how to jump incorrectly for comparison without breaking your neck

And you nail it every single time. Thank you !!!

I'm an older rider (67) who grew up racing XC and still rides a 2008 26" XC racer with all that implies for geometry. I never really learned to jump (drops, yes, jumps, no). Been trying to use the compress the forks and drive upward method for a while and never got beyond the sense of impending doom. Watched your video, went out and used the pop method and with one time sessioning with my son I'm jumping that old 26er feeling totally comfortable. KUDOS TO YOU, Kyle!

Jumping look fun, but I try one time it scared the shxxi out of me, I haven't been biking for 15 years after that, . I'm 55 years old now. Watching you kids doing just as fun, and very safe on YouTube

"your bike is a fraction of the weight of your body". Well said. Also the tyre pressure tip. You are on point. Great video

Watched literally hundreds of jump videos. As a beginner, this video is the only one that gives me a plan I can work with.

As MTB newbie in 50s, your instructions are the only ones I felt comfortable trying. Because you cover every possible scenarios, and makes me feel like I really understand the mechanics in detail. I've watched plenty other videos before I found your channel, their instructions are vague and just give you the basics. I felt like it's a trial and error instruction, and I can't afford many errors in my 50s like in my 20s haha.

I can see why you were saying that this video was a lot of work. All of the different clips, diagrams, transitions, floating fonts, and moving arrows. You did an excellent job! It is also one of the most comprehensive, and well explained tutorials on Jumping that I have found.

In one of your previous videos you explained how to do a wheelie, I'm 40 years old and since my first bike always dreamed of being able to do one, as soon as you mentioned to look up and not down, I managed to finally do my first ever wheelie, although it was a small one, I'm so grateful for what you do, and I will be forever thankful 😊

Just re-watched this video after 2 years of practice and it's even more helpful now that I understand all of the little nuances!

Honestly, this has got to be the single most helpful mtb video on youtube. Your clear explanation of what causes that dreaded nose dive on jumps is absolutely excellent. The way you break down the different approaches is tremendous.

I was always listening GMBN to learn mountain biking and basics, but never able to do a bunny hop or pop until I see your videos, You explain very well how to avoid crashes during jumps, which is very helpful to beginners. Thank you for doing such a detailed video
