I was baptized during his leadership. The 70's was the era when it was popular for couples to live together without marrying. It was an era when song lyrics emphasized the sexual perversion. He was the prophet for the time. His challenge was keep us on the straight and narrow

Does anyone realize just how hard it is to find a partner in this lifetime? Being 47 years old and divorced I cannot put into words just how hard it is to find a worthy eternal partner in our world today. The explanation of who receives the blessing of marriage and who doesn't is unreal. Who decides our fate for this quest and some are given the gift of marriage while others do not receive it in this lifetime. Soo who decides the fate of Marriage in our lifetime? Why do some receive this great gift while others don't? You might as well kill the soul if your not going to bless someone with this beautiful gift and feel like your being left out of a tremendous blessing in your life. The Sting of not receiveing this great gift is more painful than death or never being able to love in this lifetime.

Kimball's nephew married Eyring's sister if the article I read is correct. I knew they were related somehow.
