I took a cashier's check in to get cash. They, the clerk. told me i had to sign it over and come back in 90 days. "Hell no. That's a cashiers check. That means its cash!" Let me talk to your manager now. That same day i was hacked. Same amount hacked and tried to take out. You can not trust anyone, not even your bank.

Thank you for your advice and wisdom. Hard to believe this is our country. No one is coming to save us, we have to give everything to God and do all we can for ourselves. Being a pretty low income family right now, not buy choice, every little thing matters. I had a little stocked up but having to dip into it (food) being the woman in the family I worry about food and safety . God tells us not to worry. So hard sometimes.

We use several banks 3 of which are local credit unions that seem to be responsible and If I ever found out my bank contributed a large amount to a far left organization I'd immediately withdraw all of my funds....

We are focusing on how to be more detached from the "system". We have enough money in the bank to pay monthly bills. The rest of our cash is spread out in metals and cash. Mostly, we are trying to buy what we think we may need; food, materials for businesses, tools, and expendable supplies (2x4's, plywood, screws, nails, @mmo, books, etc, ...).

I am using my local credit union but have withdrawn cash over the last few months. I can’t/won’t pull my money out of investments because I have nowhere to put that money at this point anyway. I suppose “there goes my retirement”. And more will be revealed as time goes on…😖

My credit union has 2 lady tellers and a non man with a great big safe, no guns there. I have a good solid bolted down very heavy gun safe, false wall hidden, and loaded guns on my person. Mine is safer. Bank catches my social security check and all my bills are auto pay. If I go to the ATM its usually to grab some pocket change, all thats left after bills are paid, second reason as bait for bad guys. Once a Deputy always a Deputy

A few years ago we had most of our money in CDs in a large bank and when it came time to Renew I asked the rate knowing my small bank was a point or more higher. She wouldn't even tell me the rate so I said write the check. She said they don't have to compete because they don't need my $. I removed it all, not just the CD. The branch manager called me later asking why I pulled 500k from their bank and I told him since you don't need my $ I'll put it in a small bank for more interest and better service.

One thing I HATE about my job is they literally forced us into direct deposit. You have to have a bank account to get your money. SMH

I haven't trusted the banks for a while. I've seen them play with my account and withhold my funds for an entire week because of a mistake made by THEM, and I could prove it. Yet they refused to release my funds. I have a direct deposit check, and that's the only way I can get my money. But since then, I get most of my money out, ASAP, only leaving a few dollars in the account for them to play with. (I used to work for a bank. I know what they're capable of)
