People might complain about Ussop not outright beating him but remember Ussop is a primarily a sniper most of his best arsenal is meant to be used at long to super long range, the fact that he can do decent damage at almost point blank range is impressive as hell, it's like complaining that Luffy, Zoro, or Sanji have trouble fighting an enemy who is a literal mile away.
