Zoro wouldn’t leave, he’s not there because Luffy is strong. In Whiskey Peak he even says that they can finally find out who is stronger between them two, showing he believed he was on Luffy’s level

Zoro leaving is probably the worst thing that could happen at that point in the story. Having 43% of the Straw Hats leave of their own free will would be a significant hit to the remaining crew's morale, and it's possible that the rest of them would disband a few arcs later. Assuming they even survive Ennies Lobby (giant assumption without Zoro).

Usopp may also not be willing to come back if he actually wins, and even if he did he certainly wouldn't apologise to Luffy since Zoro was the one who practically forced him to apologise to get taken back. So Sanji may also lose respect for Luffy and also decide to leave. And if Usopp doesn't come back at all, we all know what would happen at Thriller Bark.

Not really, Zoro wouldn’t just leave bc there is just no way Luffy would just lose to Usopp and even if he did, it would be on purpose and Zoro would understand that faster then the other crew mates

they probably wouldn't just leave luffy, you really think that they would call him "weak" after all he's done? zolo would probably say usopp got lucky, the interesting thing is, at this point, usopp could've possibly won since luffy hadn't come up with the gears yet(and of course pre time skip), but it's like a 40-45% chance, mainly due to him being injured, ussop knew all of luffy's attacks and how to hurt him

Honestly it was the best outcome, it gave us more respect for Usopp as we saw if he was more confident in himself he could be as strong as the others

They're equal, they're respecting each other, they're friends, they're group of people that have their own dream and support each other.

I don’t see how it’s about strength. Luffy himself by this point had defeated a couple of enemies due to creative thinking or plain ol’ luck. If anything, I think Zoro would gain a newfound respect for Usopp. Because if he can defeat Luffy - someone who’s significantly stronger than him - with nothing but determination and a well-thought-out strategy, then clearly he deserves some recognition.
