Most sellers in tanah Abang isn't a producers, the producers/factories located elsewhere (your host is right in this regard). The producers (textiles) usually in West java and central java. But you can actually find shops that offer custom made stuff online. Try to go to tokopedia.com . Some sellers do accept custom orders. But you really need to look for it coz it's not an easy search (they won't put it on title, just description). Or you can chat with the sellers (there's an in app feature to chat with the sellers).

There a loooot of vlogers that made Indonesia as their travel destination. Also very easy to browse in google about Indonesia. U should watch & read them first so at least u have more information about Indonesia.
1. Yes 85% of Indoneisian are Muslims, but Indonesia is not a muslim country. Our national motto is : Bhineka Tunggal Ika. ( unity in diversity)
Do u know that the biggest Hindu & Budha temple are in Indonesia (Borobudur & Prambanan) ? Bali Islands people are 85% Hindus but there also mosque, curch, etc.
If u go to Jakarta, u can see the biggest Mosque in Asia standing side by side with Catholic Church along with Protestant, Advent curch.

2. Indonesia have more than 17.000 islands. Each Island has their own culture, language, culinaries etc.
the beach that u just saw, only 0, 00001% of the whole beaches in Bali and ofcours in Indonesia.
I won’t preach more, but pleaaaase pleasee google, search more in youtube about Indonesia.
Salam 🙏🙏🙏

Jakarta is a crazy, busy city. Not alot to do for tourists. Some amazing massive shopping malls, good food and it does have some cool nightlife.
