When I cut my hair short I was the happiest I had ever been. Almost everyone I bumped into that knew me was asking if I had a mental breakdown or if I was “going lesbian.” It hurt so bad and made me so angry that I refused to grow my hair out until I got with my now-husband, who loves me at any hair length. I grow it out now because I feel safe to do so, knowing his love is not dependent on long hair.

Facts! You have to work harder with shorter hair..I know it happens to me when I do the pixie cut! The cut that gets me the most compliments but people don't understand the more maintenance it requires!
