Chromebook are great for some people. I use it regularly for may everyday tasks. Full day battery life, not a single stutter...
However this video doesn't mention the premium Chromebooks priced over 700...
Maybe it's not suitable for media creators, but pretty solid for media comsuntion

I bought a Chromebook for under £200 to so some basic work. The main issue is navigating around some basic tasks in docs etc If youre used to Windows and dont want to invest a lot of time in understanding Chrome OS I'd pay more and buy something that runs on Windows.

300 dollars to 700 dollars for a screen, keyboard, trackpad, and a WiFi module.
Logically, chrome books should be 100 dollars to 150.
