National Institute of Science & Technology NIST have Discovered that the longsivity on the ISS is cool-burning installed in between 1998_2001. So it become weak and have to be replace by a New International Space Station ... more compact & sofistigated !!!!

"If convection doesn't happen in orbit, how is the humidity and heat of the air inside the ISS controlled?"

Airflow is created by fans.

Heat is transferred from the spacecraft to space by pumping cooling fluids to outside radiators – which radiate it to space – and pumping the fluid back inside the craft through return pipes to a heat exchanger. It is basically a "space station fridge".

Humidity can be reduced by condensing water at the inside end of such an "fridge".

Thinking about buoyancy in space is really interesting. I guess you could submerge a balloon in water no problem, and different gas densities don't mean much at all.

Huh. If convection doesn't happen in orbit, how is the humidity and heat of the air inside the ISS controlled?

watch how batteries are made and youll see how much energy is spend to produce them, so no its not cleaner than the normal internal combustion engines. electric cars work on electricity which have to be made again by burning fossil fuels mostly.

If you think this is new for them, well; i doubt it. It is good that they share with us though. We live in a very interesting holographic reality. Thanx NASA fer sharing some..:) Pax et Lux

Maybe they are putting nice comments from the last Video in the description to motivate people to comment to maybe get into the description in the next video.

The title of the video makes you think that somethings randomly catching on fire on the space station haha.

hmmm.. why they din't tell about nano diamonds which forms in flames? /watch?v=KzOkuGQC3Rw

Looks like a good idea. Then we can have cars emit carbon monoxide and formaldehyde. Much cleaner.

Perhaps. But consider what a battery is made of and where it goes when it's spent beyond use.

The normal soot is drawn to the center due to it's micro gravity and burns up from then on.

Would it be efficient to use the cool-flame exhaust as fuel for a 2nd combustion stage? I have no idea what the products of CO/formaldehyde combustion are, or whether formaldehyde is combustible.

I have sometimes thought that NASA was run by12-year-olds.
