This is such a great idea for a series. It also highlights the sheer gulf in skill between you and other players. Handicaps don’t even matter for you.

Liurnia gives you the infinite +1/+2 bell bearing and showers you with +3/4/5 stones as well. You definitely should get your weapon to at least +6 for the area, maybe +8 for a good average. And level yourself up too! Godrick alone dropped 20, 000 runes, you are well behind in rune level for Liurnia invasions.

Loving the series though, you're a great presenter and the gameplay is, as always, top tier.

Every time I watch one of these I get pumped up and think “yeah! I’ll try an invasion!” …

Then, I get ruthlessly ganked by two Moonveils and a RoB. It is easy to forget when watching Chase so effortlessly dodge everything that actually dodging Ash of War spam from a team of three is actually really, really hard.

I’ve thought this more than once; but Chase in Souls games really is the exemplar of a “weapon master.” Like, the guy just picks up anything and *makes it work, * and beautifully so.

I wish the game had a slightly different equipment system, like if it allowed you to equip six weapons without weight penalties while having them all be visible on your character model. It would be sick to see Chase decked out, I’ve always thought weapon master characters looked the coolest carrying an arsenal.

Sometimes I find it weird how Chase uses PvP tech against the PvE that will just stand there and take a full R1 chain without any effort to dodge.
But then he mentions that he can backstab a PvE invader because he has a great connection and I realise just how hard-wired his brain is to PvP after doing it for so long...

The camera flipping super fast near walls might be because of a setting called “Auto Wall Recovery”, where the game is trying to readjust the camera for you. I turned mine off a while ago and it helped with that! Also, can’t wait to see the rest of the series!
