Will the studio last many years longer than the macboom pro? Or will the ssd etc internals all wear out about the same time no matter I choose a studio or a macbook pro? What do people know about this? I must make a choice! 😀

Software… I want the flipping heck to see more updates to Siri. Bring back Siri’s ability to search Photos, read our vip emails, and get Siri to be able to tell us about the pollen outside when she gives the weather, and give her more control over your device. There’s no reason why Siri can’t tell you how much money is in your Apple account or why she can’t control other HomeKit stuff. I hate to see Apple surrender superiority in the voice assistant space to Alexa or Google.

This is the best time of the year for Tech heads. I am very excited! I’m anxious to see which devices Apple drops from the software support. I have the Apple TV from 2015. I’m anxious to see if it has another year of life or it needs to be replaced. When I looked at the calendar this is what I expected.

Everyone seems to be ignoring the Swift logo which is the only part of the WWDC teaser. They have not put Swift front and center like that in years, and even when it was announced it was like 10 minutes. I am the most excited to see what is panning out with this. As a developer, I love Swift and I don’t know what they could possibly announce to make it better since all these changes are approved and made by the open source community.

Let us all guess… more features broken unless you use iCloud. More subscription services which render normal services unusable unless you pay monthly. Higher prices. And the best of all from Tim Cook’s Apple…. More broken code. Tim Cook has to go.

What about the Mac Mini they are still selling the intel version. If they introduce the Mac Pro they might also introduce the new Mini. That’ll then be the 2 year transition.

Apple needs to focus on quality and reliability especially with macOS. Monterey has had some really bad bugs, especially with certain thunderbolt 4 docks causing a kernel panic during resume from sleep, monitors connected via usb-c slow to wake up, broken firmware updates and so on.

Apple must introduce new features to stay relevant. 1. Cursor control over text, like Android. 2. Advance subdirectory in Files 3. Comprehensive search feature (unlike the present boring search).
