First, and let me be completely honest here: I didn’t expect such heartwarming responses from Outback, Part One. Thank you all personally for your amazing support and kind words in the production of this Outback Series!

Second, I want to apologize for the extreme delay in the production of Part Two. Many factors, personal, production-wise, and state-of-the-world events, have all contributed to this delay. Although I produced the video work quite a while ago, I wanted to bring you the same consistency and quality that you've come to expect. In other words: it’s kind of a habit of mine to not half-ass anything!

So, it’s my extreme pleasure to bring you Part Two of my three-part mini-film series on the Oregon Outback - the wild, and undiscovered high desert in eastern Oregon. This film highlights two key areas in the Oregon Outback that I believe represent places of ancient wonder and extreme change.

All voice-over, video production, and professional photography were done by yours truly. Thanks again for your overwhelming support.

Stay tuned for Part 3!

Seen a great deal of this country, in 30 years of traversing lonely dirt roads in the middle of the outback in 4 states I have seen much of it, my family settled this country 4 generations ago, so many hidden gems. Shhhh, keep it a secret. It could become like the Lost Sierras, not so lost anymore.

Got my introduction to the grandeur and beauty of Eastern Oregon camping next to the Steens Mountain range on the Alvord desert for a week in 2003. A lifetime of exploration in those high desert environments. Will keep going back until the end.

Beautiful, evocative videos. I have travelled in many of these places. I especially remember my amazement at Crack in the Ground and so many unnamed places that made me feel so very insignificant . Beautiful beautiful! Thank you!

Beautiful, thank you for your documentation of the nature that surrounds humanity, usually out of sight.

I am astounded by vlogs as there is so much work involved with the equipment & editing, on top of doing the adventure.

All at once serene and spectacular. Gorgeous video! We are guests upon her soil, but we may have worn out our welcome

Stanley, Much gratefulness to you for respecting and sharing our Oregon desert. I'm so selfish. I want this for myself cuz I love it so much. It's been at least 10 years since I was in SE OR. just praying nothing has changed much. what an escape fr SoCAL. luckily I teach/taughts so I had
months of in summer, to immerse in Hole in the Ground, Lost Forest, Fort Rock, Xmas valley. so many more esp OWHYee River.

It looks like God told mother earth what was going to take place on her surface and she vomited and almost died then she cried and cried then she was flooded with her tiers
