The agents in your base are so peaceful. In my playthrough I'm always getting swarmed all the time. 😂

that's a genius trap system, you could even put the triggers in the hallway where you get your minions going over it all the time

Hey Bradacus, I recently tried a new tactic. Outdoor Topside shacks with 2x4 stronghold rooms inside, using the briefcase as the door barrier. Placed them with an opposing 2x4 armory and timeclock set to max for guards.. Right next to the two

The politician in red at 12:11 was already scratching himself when you clicked on him. Then he raised his hand to salute you after you clicked on him. The construction workers scratch their balls too.

If this has been mentioned already then good, but if you place death cells facing the freezers you wont need to take care of the bodies they produce... ever. Also you can have the freak room right next to your lab, you can link sensors together, ie the freak motion sensor -> pressure pad located somewhere else -> trap combo

Even better design is to make green room in 1 entrance and move 2 briefcases to 2 walls each time enemies come. So they will never enter.Then put door security to 1 and then to 3 when enemies ent to ubertrap

Also make biotanks in large room and make 3 Freaks with many sensors and close them thete fotever

Build your base with freezer corridors, keeps minions loyalty at 99% and from deserting, with loot items covering all minions work areas. To play this game right, you have to think outside of the box.

@TheMindfiend I basically set up a relatively simple base and worked on furthering the research of items as far as I could on island 1. Than I demolished my base and rebuilt it to the one in the video - it took some planning to do it correctly. I did it all in my head - but I had the ingame blueprints to guide me.

@NHBoehm You can connect sensors. Put your entire trap combo on one sensor, then connect that sensor to your freak sensors. All out of agents reach ofc

Currently I'm running into problems being able to properly save it. I "built" it so many times that I now know it by heart. :) But as soon as I succeed I'll post a link. ;)

But: If I try to implement it, I run into problems "wiring" the trap right. Apparently I have the connections or order wrong. Could you please explain/show the steps how to connect the individual pieces?

The way you built your strong hold is a NO NO, it will unlock tunneling thru the floor, minions have no access to the gold because the money rack is blocking.

I like your gas trap setup, it gives me a idea for a wind tunnel that blows agent from the outside to my waiting henchman and minion in the base. Never put sensors with traps, agent always destroy sensors, very seldom traps, unless they are cutting a path.

You also have to research Freak production. I think it requires all of the island one research stuff, minus the laser. But you need the laser to research the stuff to research for the biotanks, so basically you need all of it.

Does your freak trigger use motion sensors or lasers? Curious if there's a difference in the refresh time on the sensor. I've tried this type of trap using 2 and 3 freaks, but I don't see much difference in how often the trap triggers, so I assume it's just that the sensors or the traps themselves have a lengthy cooldown.

@ikinser82 I monitored the doors for a bit and would unlock them to get them inside - then lock them once they were in. I think it's my island 2 video where I actually show that happening. And you're right about the stronghold being dangerous and generating heat - it just worked out that I had rebuilt the base when I made this video and had already had all that gold so I needed the room.

When you talk about the stonghold, I think of my idea.
same sort but 4 of them outside 2 nex to each depot (flank or together).
