GED 2018 Algebra Review Functions and Relations

I'm getting ready to take the GED Math test pretty soon here, and even though I'm taking classes at a local college, the teacher doesn't always explain things like you do in this video. I feel much more confident on this topic and I'm pretty sure I will do well if I follow your advice. Thank you so much for posting these helpful videos !!!

took my ged passed 3 subjects of 5 which means i failed 2 sad to say it was math & science scoring a 422 on math and a 480 in science i took it again and failed again but got a higher score in math 486 im proud of myslef i will be on your page studying until September when i take it again

So is (f)= to b then? Since y=mx+b is the General format for graphing the linear equation? Unless we are already provided the points without having to solve the question.

Okay so I'm studying for my ged and it asks me to find the domain and range. I don't understand what it means by that so I look at the back of the book. It uses terms like "domain is all real numbers and range is all real numbers except for ___ and ___" and I have absolutely no idea what that means.
