In this example we're provided a differential equation that describes a continuous-time linear system. We compute the impulse response h(t) of the system. Computing h(t) requires us to find the characteristic modes of the system.

What would bn be if the degree of Q(D) exceeded the degree of P(D)? Just 0 since coefficient is 0?
