For any1 who rlly wants to get serious about cart pvp their is also a game mechanic where u place a rail then a cart and then u spam click it with a kb2 gold or wooden sword (any higher destroys the cart) then it will send the cart flying into ur opponent and if u get a direct hit it will 1 tap

trick: stand on top of a block and place the rail and cart AFTER you shoot the arrow. It takes a bit of practice but it is pretty cool

Right I doubt this will get much attention but here is some things that can be improved on a ton with this kind of cart pvp 1) the cart style he uses is called insta carting and is quite easy first he places a rail then he shoots and places a cart, for a faster cart you can shoot then place the rail and cart this is much harder but also far more powerfull 2) he explains how being on a different y level can effect cart damage for this reason a quite easy and powerfull cart stratagy is to place a block jump ontop of it and cart down onto your opponent 3) carts pair really well with cobwebs as if they can't move they don't have much oppertunity to avoid a cart 4) A different cart strat is to place a block infront of you jump (not onto the block) then shoot and place your rail and cart (you should shoot mid air) this is really advanced and hard to do consitantly but you will be protected from the cart damage 5) if you look at many legacy cart player they have their bow in there offhand to make carting easier, this is not good as it makes you easier to quick drops, if you have totems use them if not put a cart in your offhand effectivly giving you two carts to use quickly together to follow up and secure a kill, to use the offhand cart simply go to the slot you would normally have a cart but where it has already been used and click as normall (making it litrally the same) so you only need one muscle memory from carting There are many more interactions ect such as I have already seen mentioned with a fire aspect 2 kb2 gold/iron sword used to launch carts. Personally if you want to practice cart I would advice a kit with only a few totems or none at all and no pearls as it means mistakes are a lot more punishing and you will learn to avoid them quicker

if you get really good at it you can shoot the arrow, then place the rail and minecart before the arrow reaches it although the muscle memory required to do that is insane, what people normally do is place the rail then shoot the arrow and place the minecart before the arrow reaches it
