I'm a fan of the Mini. I've created four presets that are loaded into the hardware slots: clean, crunch, gain, and bass. I bought it to practice/jam while on vacation. I can stream my band's set list or new songs to learn via Spotify on my phone to the Mini and play along. Plus the Mini makes a decent Bluetooth speaker when paired with the phone for use in the garage while working on vehicles or at the beach or where ever. It doesn't get much day-to-day use as I usually just plug my guitar in my PC's audio interface and use software amp sims, but it's perfect for traveling.

Get the GO and the CAB!
You’ll have the most versatile best of both worlds, for traveling or jammin at home.
The CAB can get Very Loud with the GO pushing it, and you’re able to dial in Nice tones!
Can’t beat the size with some phones, late night or in a hotel room.

Had all of them. Only kept the 40 becauss its the only one that can actually put out enough volume to make it enjoyable and feel like a real amp.

I got some different speakers for my 40 - it's a little brighter. But if I was starting over I just get the cheapest one buy a 12-in full range speaker cab.

BUYER BEWARE. I bought a Spark 40 and while still under warranty, it stopped working. I contacted support and they asked questions, sometimes sending me duplicate emails (which became very confusing). They said I would be getting information on where and how to return the amp. I've heard nothing and they no longer answer any emails. This started last September. The worst support of any company I've ever had to deal with. Fender sent me a replacement Super Champ x2 within 3 weeks.

I've had my MINI for a few weeks now and love it. Your other vacation video convinced me. The amps and effects simulations sound amazing.

I plug the Spark headphone output into a Katana 50 MK II guitar input with a 1/4 to 1/8 jack. . Lot of power with great sounds !

You can actually use the phones jack to an auxiliary port on your PA and it sounds incredible.

Nice review so thanks for sharing. I bought the Spark 40 over 4 years ago and love it. In regard to making the amp more portable and losing the “brick” power cable, I recently bought a lithium battery pack I saw another you tuber review, and works brilliantly. Roughly the size of a mobile phone and attached to the back of the amp with Velcro so a breeze to take on and off to recharge. Just wish I knew about this mod earlier. Better late than never!

Yep, I think the Go is the one to get. I'm shocked at how often I use it. It goes everywhere in the front pocket of my travel guitar.

A good, honest review. I have all three too. Do you happen to have your tone presets available on the Tone Cloud? Those would be interesting to try out.

Thanks for the video! How about using Sparl mini as a practice amp for a bass guitar in my room, together with bluetooth backing tracks?

By far the most convincing demonstration on YouTube . Thanks a lot! Quick question: is it possible to connect the Spark Grid Go to an amplified loudspeaker or amplifier via the headphone output ?

Just picked up a Nux myself. Such confident little amps.

Hi. Love the gear reviews. I love the app. Do you get all the app features with th mini (Backing tracks, YouTube, Apple Music jamming etc).?Thanks to you, I’m going to sell the 40 and but the mini! 😂. I have the Hendrix pack. Is there anything I need to do like unpair the app from the amp before selling it? Thanks.

Thanks for the review. I've had the Spark 40 since they came out and love it. Though I have a battery attached to back of mine and NEVER use the power cable. I rarely play through anything else anymore and also use it in the workshop and outside around the bonfire as a bluetooth speaker for music. Adding the battery to the Spark 40 makes it serve the purpose of what the Mini would do for me. Think I'm going to have to spring for the GO though, that seems SO handy and to remain in the same ecosystem and same app is a huge bonus. ( I do use the app for playing along with tunes and getting different sounds at times).

I always said "I'll never use any kind of modeling Amp...the only modeler I agree is the Spark!" - Today I got a Spark go gifted from my Wife and I love it!

I'm using the Bias Software since years and really like it. It's exactly what you said: Is it any kind of alternative to a Tube Stack? No! When I play a gig, I'm surely using my Marshall, Hughes and Kettner or Engl Tube Amp on a 1x12, 2x12 or mostly 4x12 Cab...I love the feel, the look and the sound and this is something that no modeler can give me! I don't like the Boss Katana, it sounds too sterile to me, the Kemper just doesn't let me feel attached to the Guitar and so on. I played a gig with Bias Amp 2, an Focusrite and a Midi Switch...it worked fine, sounded perfect, but I just don't feel it the way, I feel my Tube Amp, pushing real Air to me.

But the Spark Amps aren't meant to be an Tube Amp killer to me - I just love how easy I can handle the spark go...Into the Gigbag? No problem! On my desk? No problem! Sitting on the couch? No problem! Just practicing and noodling around? Perfect!
I love how easy it is to play with backing tracks and also if you play mostly alone, it's awesome, how good you can practice Solo-Improvisation with it. For sure, I can also use a backing track on my computer and play with Bias FX 2 combined with Youtube...yeah, it works...but the spark go is just a thing, you don't think about and just use it. Nothing to prepare, no computer to boot or whatever, just plug the Guitar in and Jam along...also at night with low volumes or headphones.

I mean, I'm in the lucky situation, that im working the whole day in my own studio, so I can crank easily my Tube Amps - also at night if I want...but when my wife wants to sleep...well...maybe not the best idea! :D
But the Sparks...holy! Loving it! :D Played it first at a student of mine, who has the whole series...the 40, Mini and Go. 40 and Mini aren't that interesting to me, because I own that many Amps, that the Mini and Go don't have something, I don't get from other amps...like my Marshall DSL1-HR, which is awesome and Compact and can be easily carried around with my Marshall Stockwell II as speaker...or my Line 6 Spider 15 III which is totally fine - but you can't throw them into your gig bag or your Jeans-Pocket. The only Amp that has more or less the size of the Spark Go is the Marshall MS-2, which I really like - especially because I own that guy since 10-15 years and had sooo much fun with it outside - but playing that guy at night in a hotel room is a safe "Please leave the hotel immediately" card - and with headphones...well...better not try it.

This is exactly where the Spark Go kicks in to me - small, sounds great (compared to its size) without Headphones and when using headphones, its a pure ear-gasm for practicing.

Combined with all the incredible features it is for 125€ in Germany something like a no-brainer to me! :D

I still use my Spark 40 all of the time. I've been using it with an external battery for a couple of years. There are a variety of ways to attach the battery to the back of the amp so that it's not in the way.

6:10 Wouldn't you be better off connecting the amp to the phone via USB for direct sound?
