You're doing an amazing job with these videos! I was hoping you'd cover EHT, and very smart to do it in advance of the big announcement!

Ok I'm surprised with your in-depth research and editing. Judging by your video quality, i would have guessed a 100k views on here haha. Hope you get rewarded for your efforts soon!

Hi Chris, a succinct but brilliant description on how to photograph a black hole. You supplied information of which I wasn’t aware, for example, of the phenomenal amount of information recorded over a few years which then requires processing. It makes sense when one thinks about it, but it takes someone like you to trigger those thoughts. Many thanks, Chris, for the time and effort you put into your short videos, which I’m sure is greatly appreciated by all your viewers.

Doesn't "Hawking radiation" escape black holes? I believe that's the only thing that does.

At 55 million light years away the Earth based radio telescopes were only able to measure 6 pixels of data of M87* and those pixels were extremely blurry. Yet the image they released was 1000 x 1000 or 1 million pixels and was not blurry, indicating 100% of M87*s pixels were CGI. It was far from being an actual image of a supermassive black hole.

Cool video! But two days to circle around a black hole the size of the solar.system? Holy cra. This is insane!. This must be near light speed!

Just point your phone up at the sky and capture. Odds are you've taken a picture of several black holes. Possibly thousands. Sure, the big ones are fascinating. It's the little ones that terrify me. One the size of a golf ball could throw off the entire solar system by passing through it.... and we'd never see it coming nor could we do anything about it if we could. Throw Elon Musk at it and run.

They can see space dust zillions of miles away but can't see the empty beer cans on the moon? They were falling down a lot and levetating back up.
