What’s it like to live with an Alfa Romeo Giulia TI Sport? Last summer we look delivery of this beautiful Misano Blue Metallic Giulia. This Italian sports sedan, manufactured at the Cassino plant about 90 minutes south east of Rome, is equipped with Alfa Romeo’s Q4 all-wheel drivetrain which is well suited for all four seasons in our northern climate. One of the many reasons we chose the Alfa for our next long term test car was the praise it received from none other than automotive legend Jeremy Clarkson, the former co-host of the BBC television series Top Gear and now co-host of Amazon Prime’s The Grand Tour, once stated that ‘you can't be a true petrolhead until you've owned an Alfa Romeo’. We are now owners of an Alfa and therefore, officially, a petrolhead.

Our 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia TI Sport:
o 22S - Sport Package
o XTL - Gloss Yellow w/Black Brake Calipers
o AJB - Cargo Convenience Package
o AJG - Driver Assistance Static Package – blind spot monitoring, rear cross path detection
o GWJ - Dual Pane Sunroof
o LSS - Forward Collision Warning
o RCA - Harman/Kardon Premium Audio System

Let’s hope sales pick up so Alfa can continue to build cars people love to drive

Picked up my Giulia Ti sport a couple weeks ago and absolutely love love love it. It’s the same color color combination plus it has the carbon package. I couldn’t be happier.

I am from Argentina, where Alfa sells cars since 1960, and I had a 164 V6 12V, a 164 V6 24 V, a 156 2.0 Twin Spark, a Mito Quadrifoglio, a 166 3.2 V6 24V and now a Giulietta Quadrifoglio. The best of all was the 166, an amazing car, NEVER EVER a big problem with any of them, just keep them well serviced, change the timing belt every 60.000 km and top them with high quality oil. A "Busso" V6 24 v engine is an experience every petrol head must have. Many of the complains about Alfas are or myths or common problems of an era, (rust on 80"s cars) The only bad Alfas were the "Alfa Sud" built on the south of Italy plant, the rest were al very good, reliable and with incredibly engines and design they are well know off.
NONE of the Direct Injected new Alfas have problems with carbon build up or oil sludge or bearings failures or timing chain stretch . Can BMW or Audí say the same?

Great review. I got a Stelvio Ti Sport in 2017 (2018 model) and LOVED it so much that, when the lease was up last month, I got another. So much fun to drive, zero problems, and not the same as everything else in the parking lot!

I had a 2017 Giulia Ti Sport with Full Leather package in Misano Blue like this one. I enjoyed every minute of it, with not a single issue. That's why I replaced it this year with a 2019 Nero Edizione.

Good review. Have owned a lot of cars in my72 years....Big 3 brands, German, Japanese, Italiian. Most are kept for around 5 years. Had a 1970 ALFA spider I bought new and heavily modded it. Kept that car for over 40 years before selling to a collector to get garage space for a 2015 ALFA 4C LE also bought new....absolutly no issues on the 4C and with a few minor modes it becomes an amazing track car. i have no plans to get rid of that 4C. Also owned an ALFA GTV SCCA race car back in 70s. Currently my other cars are a 2016 Ford Transit 150 full size van and a 2018 GMC Acadia Denali. The Denali has been trouble free and a great car....the Ford makes a good van although I wasn't happy about a recall for the throttle body and an ongoing recall requirement to replace the drive shaft flex coupling every 40, 000 miles....at least that is done on warranty.

Interesting review. I had a 4C Spider then I bought a new ‘18 Giulia Quadrifoglio. No problems with either car - absolutely love Alfas. The exclusivity is a nice bonus in an age where German cars are around every corner. A few things though - I don’t see why everyone hates the turn signals, I actually prefer them. You get used to them after just a few minutes and they are less clunky than normal ones. I had a Ti spec as a loaner and don’t think they sound as bad as you say- though if it were mine I’d want a little more volume to it. I wish you had spoken of the driving dynamics a bit more. You can throw any Giulia into a turn with precision accompanied by some of the best steering in the business. Chassis balance is bar none. Glad to see another great real world review. Go buy one and live it!

Great thorough video. I bought a used 2017 Giulia Ti one year ago and love it more today than when I purchased it!

I discovered Alfa's in high school, I would sit all day in classes perfecting my sketches of the spider, I was clueless but on the right track, My teachers used to call me "alfa". I couldn't afford an Alfa as my first car, so i settled for a Triumph Spitfire, Followed by a Jetta GLI 1st Gen, yes it was late 80's. By now I had followed several Milano's to their homes..Long story short, 3rd car was VW 5cyl Quantum which I traded for my first, Milano 2.5 dark blue, it howled, at full throttle top speed the engine would go into glide mod...it felt super smooth as if power was coming from giant wound up rubber bands, 30 years later I've owned over 17 Alfa's Mostly 3.0 Quad.Verde Milano's and GTV-6's, one Ferrari, several audi's *wifes cars*, 164Q LS....You made a geat decision, Alfa's are not cars, Alfa's are people too..If you've never owned one, you just don't get it

I bought mine in red, 2018, best car I've ever bought!
I drive my pickup truck in the winter, which helps keep this car away from road salt, it makes it feel like a new car every spring when I open the garage door and drive it out.
Plus the fact that I live in the next province beside Ontario....Quebec...we don't have to have a front license plate which takes away from the cool ALFA look.

I have white 2019 Ti Sport. Love it. Dark grey clover wheels and red calipers, panoramic roof, and dark rosso leather. Best seats ever, on any car I ever had. Mine is RWD. As I live in Los Angeles and noone cares that its an Alfa.

I have been driving my Ti Sport Carbon package for the last 5 months and absolutely love this car. Always have a smile on my face in this car. But you are 100% right about the sound and after owning it for 1 month I had to upgrade to a Sports Exhaust System by Ragazzon...so much better and sounds amazing in Dynamic mode...now people turn to see what car is coming 👍😁

I have the same car, same model and year. Very happy with it and as mentioned in your video, 100% reliable.

Quick note about the turn indicators: you can lock them like normal turn indicators, just push it all the way down or all the way up. Not exactly a click, but you'll feel it.
