the thing that made all ghillied up the best story mission of all time was how good the setting was. Placed in pripyat it was a spooky setting with amazing music and the best dialogue. The whole thing was set up to immerse u in the game as much as possible and it made me feel like I was a part of a real assassination plot.

The second half of the oil rig, when you get onto the container ship is also from the first mission of COD4

I feel like the later part of "cartel protection" where you fend off bad guys chasing you in the forested hilly/mountain areas is similar to "heat" where the team has to fight back and forth on a hill to aboard exfil and also "loose ends" where they also fight enemies in forests. Also I feel the Prison break mission is also similar to the gulag mission in MW2 but this time using stealth instead of brute force.

My favourite mission in the whole campaign is the "Alone" mission
Because it is quite refreshing getting out of the whole gun'em-down aspect of the game and actually have to use your brain to craft and survive, plus the conversation between Soap and Ghost was pretty funny .
Props for the team for implementing such a unique and out-of-usual mission

Recon by fire is a sniper mission but can by far not catch the atmosphere of all ghillied up. All ghillied up was intense. The feeling of beeing alone out there, no stupid talk on the radio, the impressive scenery. It was perfect.

In the mission with the gillie suits where it tricks you into thinking that captain price got sniped also happened in mw 2019

All ghillied up will still have a place as one of the most definitive call of duty missions to ever exist. Even the name is chilling once u understand exactly what the mission is about. I think we can all agree to that one 💯.

This game is beyond amazing so much references to the memorable og version of the game put into a new aspect so gass absolutely fantastic

The Oil Rig mission has also taken inspiration from COD:Ghost especially the defusal part.

It's not 1:1 but the similarity is there

Just like the original MW2 this one is lit. The comparison between different COD games was extremely cool. Love how they switched Price and Soap in this series too. COD Ghost 2 plzzz. Ohh Inkslasher you got the gulag mission repeat.

In “Alone”, you play as Soap and it’s very similar to the Favela mission near the end where you get chased by enemy soldiers in close quarters

Also in dark water you go to container ship and it has a lot of similarities to "Crew expandable" from cod4.

I don’t know is it’s a total similarity but the mission when you are in the training area. It reminds me of the firing range in the old modern warfare 2

This campaign is the best. Mr. Stern not only gave us the action to keep things moving, but he also gave us the subtleties that made the characters important to us. He should take a major bow.

The second part of the oil rig is like the crew expendable mission in COD 4. The second mission of the game when you first find out about the missiles is exactly the same as that mission when you open the container.

The only thing I don't like about the new campaign is that there isn't enough enemy's they just have armor or there just have good guns. In the og mw you felt overwhelmed a lot of the time
