I'm also Irish and what this Irish government did was like a punch in the gut. I have lived long enough to see all sorts of idiotic politicians in Ireland acting like complete idiots, but this one was different, it's extremely worrying and our government has taken us down a dark path. As usual they say it's because they care and have compassion, the standard wording from these types, because who can argue with compassion and caring tight? 
There's something fundamentally wrong when we cannot recognise the difference between good and evil. I don't feel shame to be Irish. Why should I be? I am angry though, politically we are in bed with terrorists and islamists. People need to start waking up to the evilness that this death cult will continue to unleash, it's only a matter of time and announcements like this will only usher it in faster because we've sent a message out to a ll the islamists everywhere that we are cool with them. Long live Israel and pray for Ireland's soul.
