Will Trump Face Criminal Charges for Jan. 6 Capitol Riots?

The Jan. 6 House committee convened by recommending the Justice Department pursue criminal charges against former President Donald J. Trump in connection with the U.S. Capitol riots. It's the start of what could be Trump's worst week ever. His tax returns could finally be made public, which may show he has not paid federal taxes in years. Also, a new poll of republican voters shows Ron DeSantis beating Trump in 2024 by 56% to 33%.
