This is the type of Mongolian Beef I'm used to getting at most of my local Chinese restaurants. The other vids of "PF Chang's" versions has so much dark sauce. But don't get me wrong, that version is delicious too... I just prefer Chef Ly's version better! He makes it look so simple, I guess in a restaurant, it's all set up there for ya. Great vid, thanx for sharing your method!!

Nice recipe. Sometimes I feel that some restaurants "mask" the ingredients by adding too much dark soy. And the passing through oil is called Velveting. The egg, starch and sometimes baking soda makes the beef "velvety".

Well what triggers me is that most of Mongolian people hate the Chinese and the fact that I'm Mongolian and I see someone named Ly making mongolian beef triggered me so much
