I had this done by my massage therapist and it hurt like hell. She worked on this for about 45 minutes because it was very deep.

Thank you! I don't know how I got this pain, what's interesting about it is that it's very intense once I press the exact trigger point, but not very painful at all when I do regular movements.

Listening to him will help my muscle fade away as well... And I will fade away, and fall asleep.

I use to think the problem is inside the shoulder until I started using the foam roller and notice every time I go at the back side of the shoulder I felt that pain there. And Yes it was what this man is saying.

You described the symptoms perfectly, especially the tingling in the fingers. It goes almost all the way down the backside of my arm when i laterally rotate.

Tnx for the info. I first did some dry needling. Then I took a tennisbal and put it behind my shoulder and between a wall on the triggerpoint and put as much pressure as I can take. I sometimes feel the muscle relax and the pain is way less now

Tell you what, apart from you exactly describing the localization and pain quality ive been experiencing for over a year now, i could listen to you talk forever cos of your fine way of expressing yourself and your very very soft and gentle voice! So thanks so much for this extraordinary content ❤

What is the exact mechanism of a trigger point “release”? You just press on it and miraculously it softens. Why? How? What is happening in the tissue exactly? And what is a trigger point exactly?

Pretty good. Tenderness, not "soreness". Soreness is subjective, while tenderness is an objective sign, in response to digital pressure/ishchemic compression.

I have this problem currently, however may i ask if the pain can also travel up to the brachioradialis? And trapezius muscle?
