Have been 3d printing since 2018. Have 7 printers. Got an A1, those 7 printers now doomed for replacement, the ecosystem, quality of prints and pure ease of use Bambu offers will decimate the market of all other manufacturers in this sector as they so far behind Bambu.

I have a p1p that I upgraded to a p1s. I just bought myself an AI too lol. This video was perfect for me to binge while waiting for it.

Purchased a P1S a couple months ago, love it. The deciding factor for me was the P1S being enclosed and I nylon

This comparison video was very well done! Very clear; just the right amount of detail.

Great video with lots of useful information. Similarly to you, in the summer I run into humidity issues but having my setup in the basement even with the AC on I sit around 64% humidity. I found that with the AMS system with enough silica gel packets I can keep it relatively low. One day will add the A1 to my collection but for now I'm eyeing the P1S.

I've had my X1 for about a year now. Recently, slightly before the sale, I bought an A1 based on a review. I enjoy each of them. It is so much easier to swap the nozzle / heater on the A1. The very first time used my new X1 I selected the Bambu PLA CF filament. At the end of the print I experienced a filament break, about 1/8 inches about the heater assembly. For me it turns out that contacting customer support for Bambu is awful. I have yet to complete a customer service request due to the complexity of the request procedure. On the other hand, I was able to find a video that explained how to remove the filament fragment and I was also able to swap out the assembly. A few months ago I upgraded to the hardened hot end for the X1. Changing that proved to be a bit of a problem because it's just awkward getting the nozzle assembly attached with the heater and the thermal paste. It was a mess. I started doing some Lithaphanes with my A1 and learned that the best way to do this was with a .2 nozzle. Swapping the A1 nozzle was a snap, well two snaps, but it was so much easier than the X1. Coming from roots with an Ender 3 Pro, I had already cut my teeth in printer upgrading and maintenance, so my experience with Bambu was a relative breeze. Now, with the X1 and the A1 I spend my time printing.

Great overview! I’m still not sure which one I’ll go with but this provides excellent information for consideration.

Thanks so much for a throughout review - this video helped me make up my mind! While I really wanted a P1S, I have a one bedroom apartment. The living room serves as my office during the day, and the dog sleeps in the living room at night.

I catch myself thinking I'd find ways to make the P1S quieter - but the whole reason I'm looking into a Bambu is so that I spend less time tinkering/modding (Have a modified Ender 2 v2, and a heavily-modified Ender 5 Plus, turned Mercury One.1).

I've watched so many of these 3D printer videos and this is easily one of the best. Thank you for this!

For me, the A1 got the nod due to the ease of switching out nozzles. With AMS lite and being able to switch from 0.2 to 0.4 in about a minute, it has made just simple printing fun without all the hassles of changing filaments, bringing out the toolbox when there is a clogged nozzle, or sweating breaking something. The printer heads are cheap enough i keep a few on hand to switch out if there is an issue instead of spending valuable time trying clean a clog.

I wish they do a refresh on all the X and P series, the P1 series screen feels super old compared to the newer A series

Thank you for the video. Got me a lot of insight. I just bought the A1 today. I originally didn't think of buying any printer today. Just went to Micro Center for filament but then 15 minutes before I left the house I saw on their website that they were having deals on Bambu printers. I was kinda thinking of getting one for a while but wasn't serious about it as I already had 3 printers for what I needed them for. Just kinda wanted to try a multicolor printer. I brought money for a P1S but ended up bringing home an A1 after seeing them in person and asking questions and A1 seemed to fit my needs the most. I really like it that it's open for easy access all around it and easy to change nozzles kinda thing.
Still stuck in my head though if I made the right decision since I didn't really have time to research before I bought it so I searched on YouTube when I got back home and found your video.

Thanks, very well presented and good overview. I thought about it long and finally decided for the P1Scombo instead of the A1combo just because of the enclosure and the enclosed AMS unit. Quite a big difference in price, but long term I'm pretty sure this is the better way to go, at least for my needs :).

Now I'll just have to see if I also get the Panda Touch V1.0, I didn't see this in any review yet but it looks like a great addition :). Have to check it out. Thanks for that, also! :)

beautiful comparison, the best I found on YouTube, I'm undecided about the purchase, could you tell me how much real space the A1 needs considering the bed that moves back and forth, is 45cm of desk enough?

Did you do the sound test with the firmware that supports motor noise cancelling?
