$300 is cleaner, mostly isolates the actual sound, and sounds narrower.

$100 picks up more low-end ambience and has a "wider/fatter" sound, which I personally prefer for tingles, as it kinda muffles my tinnitus a bit more.

The $300 is great for whispers and not needing a mike back. For most ASMR, the standing mike seems just fine.

theyre different use cases, the rode is what you would use for filming interviews or dialogue or something on a set or outside, especially when you dont want it to be apparent, while the yeti is basically made for radio, controlled environments where concealment is irrelevant. i think somethin like the yeti is better for this but there’s probably some slightly more expensive mic from the 70’s that’d be even better.

The bubbles sounded better in the $300 mic but the whispers and mic scratches/brushing were hands down better in the $100 mic

I feel like 100 dollars is kinda good for asmr and doing things.300 dollars is pretty good and u can use it for when u go under water and stuff its just kinda more good when u use it that way.

For the people who know about mics the reason the $300 one is so much more expensive is because it is a affordable super small compact Mic but it sounds so good for how also maybe the reason that the second one sounds so much better is because that one is made for audio specifics like ASMR

300 dollar one is for on the go chats and mic’d up sports players for like in game interviews whilst the 100 dollar one is for home use which normally means it will be better sound quality

I couldn't hear the bubbles at first on the first microphone, but the 1st still sounded good. The 2nd was alot crisper.

The $300 one had insanely better noise isolation but considering it looks like a lav mic im not surprised. Its built to be hyper directional and considsring its a rode mic i wouldmt be surpirsed if it has ANC on it as well
