Battlefield 5 vs Battlefield 1, which game is better? In this video I compare Battlefield 5 and Battlefield 1 on their gunplay, maps, immersion, vehicles, campaign, visuals, game modes, and customization. I will award a point to whichever game I feel does that particular category better and at the end we will have a final score to determine which game is better. I’ve enjoyed both games, but BF1 had that magical “it” factor. I get chills whenever I hear the squad leader signaling his whistle to storm the trenches.

The problem with horses in BF1 is the fact that for some reason, the soldier on the horse seems to have ultra-super powers and you cannot kill him with anything.

Battlefield 1 all day long, just for the atmosphere. the weather, the dirt on the gun, it's just all-around better. I just installed BF5 the other day and the maps suck ass as they are very big and bland.

Completely agree with your points and view, for me BF1 still is an amazing game. After playing BF2042 Open Beta I immediately jumped in BF1 to wash that awful taste.

Bf1 hands down the best battlefield to date imo. And Yes I’ve played them and yes I think it’s better than 3 and 4. Bf1 is a masterpiece.

Bf1 campaign was very good, felt like a real war. Bf5 was sometimes too much inaccurate. Multiplayer in both games are fun ngl

B5 is too bright for it to be taken seriously in a war. B1 is a perfect mixture of bright colors while still maintaining a war look to it. B5 has an interesting gun gameplay. B5 has red dots that you can just put on your gun without a rail. B1 doesn't have red dots because it really wasn't invented in WW1 unless you are talking about a sniper scope. B1 has THE BEST sound design.

With BF1 it feels like the developers loved the game, the small details that they didn’t need to add but did, especially with the guns. In BF5 they just didn’t care. For example in BF1 you could hold down the trigger on the M97 trench gun and it would slam fire like an actual M97, they didn’t need to do that, but when you find it you can’t help but smile. The M97 trench gun in BF5? Yeah that feature is nowhere to be seen. And that’s just one of the countless little things they did in BF1

i took bf1 for granted when it first came out. i probably spent about 200 or so hrs into it and i went back to playing bf4.. but man i went back a couple months ago and its now one of my favorite fps shooters of all time next to halo 3 and mw2. truly a masterpiece game. not to mention the incredible war stories single player. that intro with hud off is one of the best openings to any game. its so emotional and surreal to how frontline firefights were probably like. bf1 is amazing to say the least

bf 1 is by far the only dice game i've ever played that have a good campaign, the multiplayer of course for both games are fun and addictive the first couple hour

The thing with planes in Bf1 is that you don't really need a stationary AA gun, just 2 or 3 supports can easily take down any plane in a matter of seconds, not to mention the assault AA cannon and the artillery truck AA variant. For this reason I feel Bf1 planes are pretty well balanced

Gas, bayonets, cavalry. Quite a unique fps, and WWII gets so much attention, but we rode into the Great War on horses and out of it on tanks. BF1's greatness has inspired many to delve into the often forgotten history of WWI which played a definitive role in shaping the modern world. The Great War is still a stellar YouTube channel. Beneath Hill 60 is one of many great WWI flicks. Poilu, the journal of Louis Barthas, barrelmaker, who was in the trenches through much of the conflict is a fantastic read.

I expected BFV to look and feel like BF1 just in WWII and boy was I disappointed.
