With tonnes of marines with the Indomitus box, I found to paint blood angels with contrast paint was the best way to get it to an awesome standard! Here is how!

Paints used

Base:

-Grey seer
-Iron hands steel
-Khorne red

Layer:

-Eshin grey
-Wild rider red
-Stormvermin fur
-Runefang steel

Contrast:

-Blood angels red
-Black templar
-Basillicanum grey
-Warp lightning glow

Cool miniatures! Would it be better to use Talassar Blue for the eyes?

Great video, thanks for all the tips as newbie.i tried to prime them with Grey seer and then 2 coats of BA contrast, but they came more darker than yours with not so much highlights.what am i doing wrong? Do i Need to water a Little the contrast paint?

I've got some 2nd Ed plastic tactical marines but I don't think contrast would be good? Hardly any detail in those old 1993 minis.
Old stool method better I think?

I ran into very bad streaking and brush lines when I used blood angel contrast. Any ideas?

Just looking at how you grab the brush is enough to see that this video is a fail. Nice effort tho!
