Ideas on how to fill in big pot or large planter

Omg I cringed so hard watching all those plastic bottles and labels go in that container. All those chemicals leeching into the soil 😵😵‍💫😖

Just use things and branches or even small logs! Something that will actually contribute to the plants and soil. God please stop this lol.

The entire idea of such a large planter is that it holds a large amount of nutrients and retains sufficient moisture for large plants. Filling it with anything that doesn't contribute to this is defeating the purpose. Would be much better using more leaves, twigs or cuttings to bulk out the soil. A large chunk of rotting wood would be better.

Plastic in and of itself won't harm the plant, a lot of planters contain plastic, but I wouldn't use it for edible plants.

And I could be wrong but are there any drainage holes drilled in the bottom? If not the plants are going to suffer.
