Nobody does this Unusual Money Maker on Runescape

For those that aren't aware, the mysterious nest in Aldarin is a reference to Dark Souls. In all 3 Souls games there is a nest which players can drop specific items into, and upon reloading the area their item will have been exchanged for a different item by an unseen NPC.

Found this one during leagues: Underneath the hunter guild, with a knife you can collect 3 logs in 3 ticks from the 'Roots'. These are intended to be used for hunter training on the nearby moonlight deer, so they only allow you to grab 3 logs, but they work fine with the drop trick. Collect 3 logs, drop 3 logs, repeat until you've got an inventory full on the floor, grab them and run upstairs to back. Logs have a not-that-terrible value on the GE due to how annoying they are to get, so I'd estimate it at about 300k/hr. Certainly a weird one!

What I don't get is what's so important about building extreme wealth on the game? I have been a casual player for a long time and still don't know everything to do on the game. Too bad I didn't see this video BEFORE I completed that quest. :)

@soupRS very tedious money maker, but buying individual onions on GE and putting them in sacks is a pretty decent profit margin
