so by trouble shooting did you just mean to say clean the tank? that's not called troubleshooting. that's called maintenance.

This did help, I saw that no water was being extracted. I took off the bottom tank and noticed that the little screen filter at the top was dirty. I cleaned the screen and then made sure that the lid and clamps were secure. It started working, not sure if maybe they weren't securely closed right or maybe the filter. Thank you
It doesn't hurt to try it more than once.

Thanks so much, I hadn't used it in a while and replaced the front suction part incorrectly. I had no suction at all. Your video showed me that I needed to hook the suction part underneath then latch on top. So simple, but made me crazy for an hour.

My power path pro xl works great. I make sure the top and bottom are put in bottom first and I hear the "snap" on both. No problems with spraying when I hold the trigger as instructed and released when pulling back. My problem is the sealer around the inside of the dirty water tank. When I take the cover off to clean it, the sealer is difficult to put back it. Is there a demonstration to show how to do it?

Dont buy this carpet cleaner, lasted about 10 minutes before it completely broke, wont turn on anymore. It worked great for the 10 minutes it lasted but for the price I would get literally any other carpet cleaner.

So I've done everything to my Hoover and it still won't pick up the water from the carpet no suction there is section but it's not doing it so I don't know what to do I did customer service but since I don't have warranty anymore they we troubleshoot it but that's all we could do and it's just not working so I don't know what to do.

So after many of you didn’t find this useful at all I however am in the same boat 😂😂😂 but on the plus side I had the same non sucking issue with my Hoover and I simple dumped a small section of water on my cart pet and surprisingly it fixed my issue. I have a lot of dog hair so I believe it cleared a path so it would start sucking again. Kinda wish my ex would clear a path 😂😂 hope this helps

With the tanks removed & powered on, if you feel suction with your hand than odds are good that the above recommendation can work for you, I myself was surprised to see a minuscule amount of hair in the light green plastic piece inside the dirty water tank & sure enough after rinsing it out suction resumed.

The sealer on my dirty water tank won't stay in. How do I put my tank back on and keep the sealer in place? It won't stay in on my hoover Power path pro xl.

My husband took the bottom part apart to clean it, put it back together and now it won’t work correctly.

So a friend gave me this as a gift and I filled the clean water tank with the cleaner fluid and began using it but when I come back with it there is no dirty water in the bottom tank. What am I doing wrong? Am I really that dumb? Lol I read the manual I’ve looked on YouTube I’m just I’m lost I don’t know why it won’t pick up the dirty water it releases The cleaning fluid water mixture and it vac it looks like it vacuums back up when I bring it back but there’s no dirty water in the water tank. Bone dry! I’m going to feel so much more stupid if it’s such an easy solution

Completely pointless because unless people are morons they tried all these things and it’s still not suctioning of course people know to like make sure the hose isn’t clogged.

The way it is designed the dirty water tank will not secure down tightly, I can't get the thing to just "Pop" in easily, and then when I try to use it, it won't suction. It's a Piece of crap and I wish I hadn't wasted my money. I have tried EVERYTHING to get that top of the dirty water tank to fit down tightly, and it will NOT. YES, I made sure it was in the little front latch to hold it down correctly, but when I flip up the back latch, then try to secure the top, it will NOT pull it down tight enough, so it's difficult to get it to fit in the area dirty tank is supposed to go, and because the dirty water tank top won't snap down tightly, it won't suction! This is a manufacturer fault, not an owner problem!
