In my opinion the best results will be achieved by using the correct technique. Slow passes seem to extract the most dirt, and starting off with a machine that is as clean as possible also helps. And don't skip the dry pre vacuum, it'll remove most of the dry debris which just clogs the machine when wet.

Brand new and it won’t suck the water into the bottom

Hey Hoover. I plugged in mine and the brushes must have been stuck. Before I could turn it off it quit working. Now it does nothing at all when I turn it on. Is there a reset???

I got one and its not sucking any water into the bottom tank.

How long does it take to do a small apartment though? I am renting one for a day, but my god I am moving furniture around and waiting for each section to dry before I can move stuff back and clean more. And its taking all day for one little section to dry!

At this rate I will never get the rest done in time to return this machine!

I replaced the belt it worked for a few minutes then the brushes quit turning I turned it off turned it back on same thing the belt belt started to smoke . So I gave up for now what could be the reason thanks

Mine has two triggers one on the bottom where you pour that was demonstrated and one on the top where you can push with your thumb are they both made for the same thing? I bought it like this without the bus so I’m not really sure.

My shampooer looks just like this, but it has a bottom plastic over where I need to change my belt took all the screws out and it will not come off so I can get in there. What do I do?

Absolute junk... DO NOT BUY HOOVER! There are 2 major design flaws that keep the dirty water from being sucked into the recovery (bottom) tank and they made it nearly impossible to change the belt. SCREW hoover.
