Very cool analogy! It cut off at a somewhat crucial spot, tho, so I gotta see if I've got this right... As described, it seems that the analogy would be pretty much dead on if the person packaging the gloves were unaware of which was which. I am hesitant to revel in my satisfaction as it's too simple. In the Q world, are there any influences that could change the outcome other than either of the 2 boxes being opened?

Can an object accelerate its spin so quickly in one direction to the point of changing its spin direction? I've been wondering about tachyons.
