Bless all these family members. It has to be so hard.

I cannot imagine. As a mother, I can't imagine. My heart breaks for these families.

Shouldn’t they keep the building intact until the trial so the jurors can see it?

So sad. My heart is still broken over these kids. I can’t imagine the families pain and how long they’re waiting for Justice.

So sad, tragic on every level, I cannot even imagine, they were just young kids with a bright future ahead 😢😢

I hope what items that are still in the house will be removed by volunteers. Hopefully family members won't be expected to go in the house.

This is a huge mistake. The court won’t let anyone involved talk about the case, but they are letting the university dismantle the crime scene before trial? Ridiculous. If Kohberger is acquitted or overturns his conviction on appeal, it will be Idaho’s own damn fault.

IMO things should not be removed until after the trail. It seems odd. They left the Murdaughs home intact and took the jury there.

I wouldn't want anything out of that house except personal things. I can't think anyone would want a mattress or a couch out of there.

I wonder why destroy the evidence prior to the case. So dumb

PAY THE OWNER FULL MARKET VALUE FOR THE PROPERTY

I'm praying that the mattresses will or have been taken to the landfill.
They'd be a horrific reminder of what happened.

1) they know who really did it 2) they don't want YOU to know who really did it 3) Getting rid of the house will delete every persons DNA there, which is probably a lot.

NO IDEA why they'd demolish the crime scene before the trial..The MSD Parkland Fl School bldg is still standing since the shooting Feb 14, 2018. THE JURY WENT to the scene. The kids have gone to school for 4 years...I think they can wait 3 months.. jic..

The mattresses or other damaged items have to be removed by professional crime scene cleaners to be properly destroyed.

Kid's belongings? They were young adults.

Well I really hope they wait til the trial is over, it’s not right just because students don’t like walking by it or feel uncomfortable with it there it’s a very important part to the whole thing in my opinion, destroy it AFTER JUSTICE HAS BEEN SERVED
