Can someone please tell me if these test are fair in terms of what country the text is related too? If I said "kia kaha" means "be strong" in the Maori language...how is someone in China gonna know? These verbal reasoning text seems designed only to the English speaking word and culture. What ever happened to the good old, job experience, qualified, life skills etc...I don't see how these types of recruitment tests and job specific related in terms of the actual job being applied for. We are all not white people English speaking.

Are these test based solely on IQ ability? Say for theoretical purposes, someone with an IQ below average has made it through uni with a 2:2 whom have done this solely through hard work. Will they struggle on this test more compared to someone with an higher IQ? Can an individual of below average IQ score same or higher than an individual with high IQ? I'm trying to understand where putting in a lot of work researching about this will actually benefit me or should I jump straight in guns blazing

Hi Tim,
In this video, the answer to the first question is "Cannot tell", but when I gave the Grad practice test, they say the right answer is "True". I am confused. Could someone please explain?
