Don't try to defend IAF. They are confused and not capable of taking decisions... Proud of Indian Navy in this regard

India should join South Korean KF-21 program for 5th gen fighter jets 😁

only emergency solution is purchasing second hand jets and upgrading both, second hand jets and existing inventory to tide over the next 5 to 7 years....until Tejas induction should be in full force, ....off course extra assembly lines needed and during this period development of kaveri engine on war

Sorry to say sir, but aap ne IAF ko kuch jyada defend kr diya, ye aap bhi jante ho ki aj jo IAF ka hal hai uska pura jimmedar IAF khud hai, chahe bhut se indigenous program ko krna ho ya foreign deal ko long terms me atka ke rakhna or bhi bhut reason hai jo aap mere se ache se jante honge

The biggest blunder was to buy only 36 Rafaels in Government to Government deals. We should have bought 114 then. Those 4/5 extra squadron of Rafaels would have given IAF a breather to develop Kaveri for MK1A while still buying F414 for MK2. This would have also allowed India to become an “assembly” hub for Rafael and slowly India could have increased the Indian components in them. Today to get access to GE Engines India has to buy Stryker out of compulsion.

People need to understand that long term wars are fought not just by weapons and need to focus more on geopolitical situations which is being created around India. Most of our neighbors have fallen for western and chinese traps for small gains.

Retired Colonel J.S. Sodhi has said this...

Balakot Strike - On 26 February 2019, India conducted a surgical strike but the next day Pakistan jammed India's electromagnetic spectrum, due to Wing Commander Abhinandan lost contact with control. and India's own missiles shot down its own helicopter in which 6 airmen were killed, including two officers. The government kept this fact hidden for 5 years.

The most confused and lack of distant vision force of India - Indian Airforce 😢

1) MRFA was botched by IAF and MoD. They took way too much time and now the supply issue happened.
2) Every procurement is problematic. When we acquired C-17 we didn't focus on number. Now we are struggling. Same issue will happen with Chinook. (my prediction). Rafale, Tejas, AWACS every procurement have quantitative issue
3) IAF always want avionics upgrade most of them are power hungry but don't want power plant upgrade. This is useless.

The government should invest billions in HAL to make more assembly lines.

Indigenous is the only option now.

Billions are wasted in freebies, why not use them here.

IAF procurement decision making team always misplaced, It doesn't have any proper direction and neither they are forcing the govt to sort out asap, if govt won't agree should speak in public junk govt will listen only when it becomes public, I understand the issue of speaking in public and blackmailing, but when govts are not much bothered about country's security you should speak in public it could be on other side as well IAF don't want to take the lead in case of war just sit idle and blame govt not providing advanced jets, govt will be spending 100's of billion dollars for many useless activities, should contain those and provide necessary equipment to the defense forces

India should continue nashik line and produce another 60 su30mki from 2025 to 2030. In this period engine issues will be solved and should procure Tejas jet in huge no. Then AMCA

End result is that India will loose some parts in Ladakh and Araunchal if war breaks out..then whole machinery from IAF to HAL, Indian government all will get lessons..

IAF khud jimmedar hai😐😐😐😐, ..GE ne jis engine ki production band kardi thi, uska achanak se itna bada order kyu dia?..ya to pehele se hi HAL, IAF aur GE mai coordination hona chahiye tha, taki GR production band na kare...,
